OK Guys 'n Gals, what was the final verdict from Shotwick? There doesn't seem to have been much published on the forum, considering the amount of effort we all put in. Has anyone received comments from the inhabitants of the Village with Thre Corners or have they all gone to sleep for the rest of the Summer?

Hi all
I saw Jenny on Thursday night the 7th (sorry didn't post this earlier, but been v busy and away for the weekend). Anyway, she said the folios had been very well received at the BBQ on the 2nd. Frank (bellringing tower captain) said he had had difficulties getting the bellringers to concentrate on the following Sunday as they were all so interested in the photos, which at that stage were on display in the church. Since then, I think they have been stored in the vestry. There is nowhere in the church for all four folders to be on display, and Jenny is not keen on having them on public view all the time as she things they are a bit vulnerable to damage or whatever. She said they would be on display at the Harvest Festival, and she is looking into a more permanent and secure place to have them viewed - sounded like she is thinking of poster boards to attach them to. Anyway, she was full of enthusiasm for them, and thought they were all excellent.

Cathy,
That's great news, thanks for that. I was begining to think that no one had seen them or was prepared to make any comments.
Do we know if there is a comments book as part of the package? I know Colin said he'd put one with the photos but not sure if that happened.
Anyway, it's god to hear that the work we put in has been appreciated.
Well done to everyone who made a contribution.

Hi all, sorry haven't posted for a while have had lots to do at work etc and not been online much since. At the bbq the folders were received really well and they couldn't believe that we were giving them to the church - they thought they were only getting them for a short while to exhibit. they were grateful and made up. hope to be online a bit more soon
